US authorities release harmless, odorless gas in subway survey

New York City, USA 9 May, 2016 – A mix of odorless, inert gases and tracer materials were released in three of the busiest subway stations in New york City: Grand Central Terminal, Times Square and Penn Station on Monday, 9 May, 2016. U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials said. With equipment set up at another 55 subway stations around Manhattan, researchers will take air samples every four hours to see how the gas spreads. The test is part of a five-year program that began in 2012 to develop methods to protect urban transit systems in the event of an attack or accidental contamination. New York City, USA, 2 January, 2016 -- Tour-bus operators delivered tourists to the world-famous, Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York to pay tribute to the late American singer Natalie Cole, the 'Unforgettable' singer was the daughter of legendary Nat King Cole. The multi-Grammy winning singer died from congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, 31 December, 2015.
